We were so busy today. A little while ago Granddad, Grandma and Uncle Neil came and helped Sue pull down her old shed. She has to put in a water tank so we have water. Anyways, turns out that a tank can’t go there. Too many power lines and stuff in the way. So we made a garden instead. It took us all day.
I had high hopes that it was going to be a swimming pool for me and
The tank is now going where the “naughty boy and hot girl” kennels are. They are moving to the right hand side of the new garden. That’ll be cool cause the sun will get to them. They’re a bit cold were they are cause the big tree shades them all the time.
Next weekend Sue will fill the garden up with dirt and then plant the first lot of veggie. I hope she puts in snap peas again. They were yummy last time. (Don’t know why Sue’s checking to see how much electric fencing tape she’s got left - strange).
We found the usual array of nails, broken china, an old bottle (Sue’s selling it on Trademe) and lots of plastic and even some buried sheets of roofing iron! One of the plastic bags was a really old KFC one, from when they still called themselves Kentucy Fried Chicken. I put my foot down and said “NO!” to selling it on Trademe. Sue reckons it’s probably worth something.
I did mention to Sue that the lawns needed mowing too. She gave me a funny look.
